Robert and I met through a dating app called "OK Cupid" on November 13, 2018. Robert messaged me first and the only thing that he wrote in the message was, "Hey Krystyna". So he always jokes about his smooth moves and how all it took was "Hey Krystyna" to reel me in!! lol After daily chats with him on the app, because he was initially too nervous to ask me for my phone number lol, we finally met at Benihana for our first date. Following that, we were going on dates once a week, which eventually led to seeing each other twice and three times a week. And on January 16, 2019, we became an official couple. :)
We were in NY on a trip I set up for us as a Christmas gift for Robert. He is a huge Harry Potter fan and I set up a trip to NY to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway. He was so excited and could not wait for this trip since I had told him about it in December. Little did I know, it was going to be the trip of a lifetime!
March 07, 2020-The day my life changed for the better... the day I became someone's fiancé!!
We had a free day to Rome around and be tourists while in NY so we hopped on the big red bus and went all over the city. We made it to Central Park where we took a horse and carriage ride, and walked all around, enjoying the breathtaking views. We were a little tired and wanted to find a place to just sit and relax. We found this pretty little spot to sit down over looking the water. We were sitting there, taking it all in, and to my surprise... he proposed!!! He proposed while we were sitting because he said he didn't want to ask me to stand up cause I would have thought that would have been weird. So he proposed while sitting down. I then found someone to take some pictures of us, to capture the moment and of course I told him he had to get down on one knee now! lol So we got some beautiful pictures, with some beautiful scenery. It was perfect, and although I looked like complete crap, that was the greatest moment in my life!
And then once we returned home, the world shut down! Hello, Covid-19! We couldn't even properly celebrate this happy moment of our lives because Covid took over! So we celebrated with ourselves and then the wedding planning commenced, from home! We set our date, October 23, 2021, and once things started to open back up we were able to start full on wedding planning. And while it has been a crazy ride, we are enjoying every moment of it!
We are so excited, we are so in love, and we cannot wait to become Mr & Mrs on Saturday, October 23, 2021!!!

Robert first told me he loved me on the evening of Friday March 29, 2019, after meeting his parents for the first time. He was scared I would have thought it would have been too soon, but it wasn't, I felt it too! Sometimes when you know, you just know! A few months after he had asked to move in together, and once his lease was up, we found our first apartment and we moved in together on September 19, 2019.
